In 2020, Sky committed to be net zero carbon by 2030 and launched Sky Zero, an environmental impact programme dedicated to slashing their carbon emissions and inspiring others to do the same. Sky wanted to take their customers with them on this exciting journey, so they used their UI to shout about this great new initiative. Aysha managed the UI marketing campaign and wrote all of the UI copy.

Creating this collection required liaising with partners to build a curation of environmentally focused content, briefing in creative for the UI and writing attention-grabbing collection names, rail names and bespoke synopses.

A leading part of this campaign was the Sky Zero advert, which uses fairytale tropes to tell the story of global warming in an easily accessible way. This came off the back of research suggesting that climate anxiety often leads to inaction, while narratives that offer hope for the future drive productivity.

Aysha also built help articles for Sky Q providing further context for our customers.
After the launch, Aysha rebranded the collection, turning it into the Climate & Nature Collection which Aysha's team continually refresh and resurface at key moments in the year, such as Earth Day.
